Our Approach
About La Grande
Our campsites are good sized so you have room to picnic and have a campfire. We are close to town yet nestled on 33 acres of wooded property, which includes a hiking trail. You will think you went miles away from home.
Enjoy our campground while you tour historical sites in St. Mary's County, the mother county of Maryland. There are many recreational activities that can be accessed a short distance away such as fishing (fresh water and salt water), kayaking, canoeing, boating, hiking, and biking. There are lighthouses to see and various museums. Solomons Island is a short drive away.
Some people choose to camp while they are in the area for work. We can accommodate long term camping also. So the next time your boss says they want you to go to St. Mary's County to work on a project, hook up your camper and stay a while with us. You will find the relaxation of camping a welcome outlet after a day of work.
